Author Christine Gardner

I'm an Australian author, living in rural Victoria, and I've written stories ranging from Fantasy for children, and Science Fiction for Young Adults, to True Crime and all kinds of fiction for adults. Although I have co-authored books for traditional publishers I'm now independent and my books are available on Amazon, most as paperbacks as well as ebooks, and as ebooks on several other platforms.

I've always been an avid reader but it wasn't until my youngest son started school and I decided to study art at TAFE, that the idea of writing stories myself occurred to me. After I finished my Diploma of Art and Design I completed another Diploma, in Professional Writing and Editing, and then went to university and completed a Degree in History. My True Crime book (Not Guilty) evolved from my studies there and I also wrote a fictionalized version (Her Flesh and Blood) because I found sticking to facts quite frustrating! I definitely prefer fiction.
